About this Project

This Spring the first amphitheater of youtheater opens on the Belgium coast in the city of Nieuwpoort, during the art trienalls Beaufort03. Youtheater is a network of integrated public amphitheater, a conceptual form of the original platform, foreseen with free electricity and video stream communication. In a nutshell all you need to make a public interventions from speeches to acts or a full live concert.

Next to the integrated video capitation every theater is adapted with a sound registration system. With one push on the bottom a 10 minute registration is started what sends the performed audio and video to the website of Youtheater.net. All images are linked to public video sites as youtube from where recordings can be recovered to use on your personal blogs, site, etc.

This monumental project is a public meeting points for supporting initiatives and needs, connected to the global net. To create a community which goes beyond existing internet communities, which are supported from behind a computer. Youtheater.net gives the possibility for recordings and messages from out the public domain to the public as a monolith that preannounces a time where global communication is foreseen and reachable for all people.

The goal of Youtheater.net is to create a global network of amphitheaters foreseen in the necerities for an open global communication system. Supported by an autonomic network, to create a sustainable platform.
